A Short Play

ACT I

A park bench. A man dressed in a tuxedo walks up to the bench and sits down. He sits with his hands in his lap. He’s waiting. He waits for some time in virtually the same position (the amount of time the man waits is up to the director).

MAN [While looking at his watch and getting up to leave]: Fuck it, he’s not showing up.
